Just installed Quadzilla DXZT2 tow module. There's some kind of rattle at 2100 rpm., either timing or injector rattle.Is this normal ? Can you run it like that , or will it cause problems

 

it is injector rattle caused by slightly higher pressures and the timing advance.. it is normal, but it shouldnt be ungodly loud. if it sounds like a cold 12v, that is abnormal.

 

Thank you for your response. The rattle isn't " ungodly loud" as you described it. There is a rattle as compared to no module . Just wondering if there is a long term effect on the engine. I've been using the lucas fuel treatment for the last 2 months .

 

you're good to go. no worries. just remember to be gentle until the engine is complelely warm.

 

Or even a warmed up 12v.
