Alright I have the directions first off.
The 1/8 male x1/4 female and the 1/4 Male x1/8 female when I screw them together I only get 2 full rotations and then it is alot of force to get any more turns I do not want to break the fitting. This is without any teflon tape on,also when I put the tape on it just pushes up the threads. also the temp probe is a little better buy about 2 1/2 more turns. Any body put one in with the same symptoms. It just doese not seat like the picture.

 

They are pipe thread so the are tapered amd will be very snug. Get them plenty tight amd they will not leak.

Also what is the third brass one for 1/8 female on insid and bigger on the outside than a 1/4?

 

Well know that I tighten it down the temp gauge will not fit in cant even get it to the threads to tighten in.
