Question Quad????

What is the difference between the Quad 30-60-100hp std box and the 60-100-140hp box. I know that the one I have is the standard box and the other is the Race box. Do both of them do, fuel, duration and timing? Or does the std box just do fuel? I am curious of what the std. box actually does....

The Race tunes are a little more aggressive, a little more smoke on all settings down low. That and 40hp more than the Standard. They both do the same things as far as duration timing and pressure. The Race box will have a little more peak pressure as well.

I think it should have a little more bottom end than the standard. I've got the Race module and I am very happy with the bottom end. It's got more than the older version of the Triple Dog. I didn't get a chance to try the new Triple Dog beta version so I have no idea how it compares to that. You could always stack your standard with a Smarty on the "no added timing" levels. I'm sure you would be happy then.....

As Quad said, the Race box is more aggressive than the Standard so it will have some more bottom end. The Standard is a 30-60-100 box and the Race is a 60-100-140(or 130 depending on year) box. So to answer your question, yes it should have more bottom end and the higher level will definately please you. Be aware thouh, the stock trans won't like you on the higher levels. If you drive it like you stole it, chance are the tranny won't last too long.

I had a RACE box but downgraded to a STD as it fits my setup much better. The RACE box was a little hard on the stock clutch and I don't have the funds for the SBC kit yet.

StD 100hp vs Race 100hp, same on top, race fuels a little harder down low.

Same thing with the 60hp setting.

Everything on the Race tunes comes on a little faster and a little harder and there is a little more smoke on every setting.
