I can confirm that there is no way to mount the Quad supplied fuel pressure sensor on the CP3 with a Jacobs vaccum pump mounted in the standard (only) location. You will have to mount the fuel pressure sensor on the other end of the CP3 inlet line. This is on the botton of the fuel filter housing. The sensor will mount using the bolt and washers shipped with the Quad kit, upside down (wire terminal facing down).
As to accuracy, there should be little difference between one end of a 3/8 ID 3 foot long tube and the other. Also, the bottom mounting position is much better than mounting it on the filter cap, because the bottom port is on the outlet of the filter and thus reads the pressure after any loss through a clogged filter, which gives you more warning that the filter needs to be changed.

Thanks for the info Ed! Put the sensor at the bottom of the FF housing tonite, got pretty well doused in diesel, but the swap is made and reading pressure just fine.
