Pyro guage light

I just installed Isspro guages about 2 months ago. Everything has worked fine until this morning. On the way to work the pyro guage light kept dimming about every 3 minutes or so. It would dim for about 1 minute, than it would go bright again. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to check?
Thanks,
Larry

Double check your connections. Sounds like a loose connection somewhere.

My headlights do that every morn. about the 1st 3-4 minutes. Volt gauge will simetaniously drop when this happens. Dodge house says this is normal.... .. something about some kind of heating element or something. Headlights dim slightly then it goes away

That is your grid heater kicking on and off. It pulls alot of electrical power and will make your lights dim momentarily. Once warm weather (say above 70 degrees) is here constantly.........it will go away until next fall or winter. It is completely normal. Dodge house is right on that one.

That may also be what could be dimming dodchall70's lights on his gauge, but im not sure on that one. It wouldn't just effect one gauge.........it would pull down all of his lights simultaneously for a minute, then brighten them all back up. His may very well be a loose connection.

Thanks for all of your help. I did check all the connections last night. Everything looked OK. It is not the grid heater because it is only the Pyro guage that is dimming. It did it again this morning on the way to work. It is like it is on a timer. It dims then gets bright again.
Thanks again,
Larry
