anyone tried one of these? Will it help the filter minder from being sucked in the red every time i stomp it?


MY main concern is added noise?

 

I have it and really like it.
I haven't seen the filter minder move since I installed it (although I don't believe the minder), and as an added bonus I've seen my EGT's lowered by about 50*F

 

I have it and love it, dry Amsoil drop in for me with this setup. I turn everybody I see with a truck like ours onto it...

 

I looked at these and went to lowes:
4" toilet bowl flange
4" x 24" pvc pipe
cut hole in bottom of box, mount flange, cut slash in end of down pipe.
$8.00 and just as good.

 

I did basically the same thing. Saved many dollars and it works like a champ.

 

just bought 4" toilet flange and some pvc...gonna use silicone to seal it to the box and i already have a 4" holesaw laying around..i forgot to get a peice of window screen though...

 

I've got one. Prior to installing it, my truck would pull down the filter minder 1/2 way at WOT when the truck was COMPLETELY STOCK.

After I installed the PSM and AFE drop-in, the filter minder stays put, even with the Smarty Revo on 9. Works pretty well, in my opinion.

You can make your own for a lot less...

 

Wonder if anyone on this forum has ever hooked up a setup like this to a snorkel mounted in the bed?
