Mine stays up and it is GREAT! Mine is not only "stuck" up there but also under the headliner so it's not goig anywhere. I love it becaus eI could add the other two gauges I wanted to and they are very easy to read but not intrusive into your normal vision. I have 3 on the A-Pillar and 2 Overhead. I highly recommend it!

I had the 3 gauge pod on my truck. The expansion joints of LA took care if it one day along with my rear view mirror. I have since taken it off. I liked it but it never seemed to really fit even with trimming.

I had a issue to my overhead coming unglued a few times. I have the auto dimming rear view mirror and the plug/ wires to the rear view mirror would prevent the overhead to get completely hooked onto the window. I trimmed the overhead with a dremel tool to a accommodate the wiring. Now I do not have any more issues.

Got my overhead gauges from Dieselmanor. The power module for the transmission gauge went out on mine this summer. Since the transmission gauge is calibrated with the sensor and module I had to send the whole thing back. They sent me a replacement with a return shipper ticket, no problem. The folks were very helpful at Dieselmanor. He told me to use the black silicone it holds better and is is less visable from the outside. He also told me to wrap tape around the gauges and insert them from the inside once the overhead is mounted. I used 1/8" pinstripe tape (black). The gauges are nice and snug, no light "bleed thru" at night. The first time I mounted the gauges I used the Velcro tape and the mounting brackets that came with the gauges. So when the transmission gauge went out on me I had to pull the whole thing down, wasn't easy. Also I used super glue (two little drips) to hold the wires up between the windshield and headliner.

Here's mine

Been up there for about a year. Used 2-sided rug tape. After a year in the sun, it would take some work to get them off. Ideal place IMOA, easy to glance at while not being in the way.
