I love mine, I would never go back to stock ones... 1.5 years now and still look good as new (truck is not garaged)...

Where did you get your headlights and what did you pay for them?

just today i started searching old threads about these. mine would be on an 06. how do the H1's plug in? do these cause your turn signals to blink fast or does the turn signal use both regular bulbs and LED's(i can't tell on the 06 style)? i looked at the back of these things and they just give me a scare with hook up. doesn't look like a typical headlight anyway. also are these DOT?

i have heard nothing but great things about these especially for the price. i just wish i knew a little more before placing my order since there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of detail about them on ebay or other sites.

My halos are an 05 like above so this may not help as much since you need 06info, but if it is the same company it should be similar. The H1 bulbs harness plug into the stock light harness, so no issues there. You have to wire the leds and halo ring seperately, usually not too bad. My are DOT legal printed right on the headlight, if you get them, definetly upgrade from the bulbs that come with them to sylvania silverstars or something. I upgraded both high/low beams and changed out my driving lights so they all match color wise. No issue with the turn signal since they use a regular bulb, not led or anything. I upgraded to the sylvania silverstar bulb that looks clear but lights up amber. Hope this helped. Tac

that's exactly what i was looking for and seems to sum up my decision now. i've heard guys wiring up the led's to turn signals as well? i already have the silverstars in my fogs so that would be an instant upgrade there for the H1's. from what i've heard about them they are a great upgrade when it comes to beam strength, so for the price, i think this will be a must for me. i will have these ordered off ebay this weekend then.

You are entitled to your opinion. You wouldn't believe the compliments I get on my headlights. Plus, my truck is the Turbo Diesel Registry January truck in the 2009 calender, and it has been in Diesel builder magazine since summer of last year as an ad truck. Guess somebody has to like the look. Tac

A couple of the things I liked about them is that you can adjust the high and low beams seperately, H1 bulbs are about as common as you can get...

No daytime running. I wired the halos and leds to come on with the marker lights, but they are also switched so I can turn them completely off in case I were to get hassled by the law.
