I watched a 2005 Dodge 6 speed dyno this weekend at the BD dyno day in Chilliwack, BC that made 430 RWHP and he says he only has a chip and straight pipe....the rest is stock . Just wondering what chip he might have to get this with such few mods?

Would this also be possible with my 2006?

I'm kind of surprised at the terminology ("Chip").

He could have a Smarty, Q-zilla or Edge Juice. He'll be slipping that stock clutch before long.....

To answer your second question, YES! It is totally possible, matter of fact you could probably go closer to 460 or so. (transmission being your very weak point in the package).

 

i have heard of people dynoing 460-480 with a fuel system and a triple dog with 2.4.1

 

smartyrules8563 claims 430.6 on smarty only with an 06. Maybe he will chime in. I'd say it's definately feasible but you never know what else they might have that they don't want you to know about.

 

I made 454hp with a smarty and now my clutch is slipping. You know what mean it time to start spending a little money.

 

Thanks for the replies! I realize that some people are not totally honest about their mods....but I was just curious if it was possible. So with just a smarty and my set up I should be in the 430 ish range?
