Exclamation problem with Quad!

i finally got my stack tune to upload into the box. Then once i got it all installed on my truck i cranked it up and it was nocking, rattleing horribly so i killed it and checked my codes. I have the P0193 code, high fuel rail pressure. I didnt even drive it. So i have it out as of now but the code is still on the truck can i disconnect the batteries and erase it? also wth do i do with the x2 now that this prob has occured

More than likely you connected the Rail pressure sensor up backwards into the harness. It is easy to do. I had the same thing happen to me one time when I was in a hurry to put it back on the truck after a dealership visit.

well im not certain as to how you can put the connections in backward without breaking the small guides that line up the connections and wont allow you to do so unless you use force. but i did go back out there and made sure that i did have them correct and i did so thats not the case. thanks

carte89, believe it or not, many people have said the same thing and when they went out and checked, they had indeed hooked the connectors up wrong. It definitely sounds like that will be your problem. I'd suggest hooking it up again and really make sure of the proper fitment...

Where you will make the error is where you plug the factory harness into the Quad harness. The Quad harness to the rail pressure sensor should not be where your problem is at.

sorry for the late repy guys. i found the prob however it was not from me hooking things up wrong. Turns out the 12 pin plug to the box had a connector withing the plug that was pushed inward. i just pushed it back in and made sure it connected completely and the prob went away. thanks for the help guys!
