Quad cab water leak problem

I have a 2001 Dodge Quad cab Dually and I get water on the pass side front floor.
I cannot find where it is coming from!
I put a dab of silicone in the tiny corner of the windshield weatherstrip on top.,
I bought new door seal gasket (entire perimeter)
I removed the cowl and looked inside...saw nothing amiss, ran a garden hose inside this cowl area...no water came in.
I am at wit's end.
I am thinking it may be due to the chassis flex.
I have not ruled out perfect level parking VS where I usually park (on uneven ground)
I even adjusted the door latches to make the doors seal even tighter...still leaks!
I am thinking may be a common problem for these trucks...
any suggestions??

Clogged evap drain (or moisture traveling along it back into the cab, put a spout on it {short piece of heater hose}), rear window seal, third brake light lens seal, windshield seal. Those are the common spots.

It can't be the rear window or third light. that is too far back.It is the front pass footwell that is getting soaked.
I will try extending the evap drain.
But............
Seems to me that the footwell only gets wet after it rains though.

I'm going with the cab lights if the leak is directly related to the rain.....my 94 and 98 both leaked at the cab lights but by far the worst problem is the airbox drain when the AC is in use.....that is why it is typically only damp on the passenger side...I extended the drains about 8" and the problem was gone...

I vote for the 3rd brake light as well.

There is a channel it leaks down to, then flows along and gets deposited on the passenger side floor,
usually without any other wetness visible.

If it was the AC evap drain, you would have seen it even when it hasn't rained.
AC cycles in almost all positions except straight vent and straight floor.

Cab lights, new gaskets and some silicone will do it. Remove the B pillar and see if its damp on the pillar or traces of water.

well.
I put a real thin layer of silicone between gaskets on the 3rd brakelight, also the two cab lights on Pass side..
PLUS..
I figured an easy, fast and unique way to remedy Chrysler Corp's poor Evap drainage problem...
I simply used some weatherstripping adhesive, and fitted a Sparkplug boot (90 degree)
over the factory drain tube. It fits absolutely perfectly and even has a factory appearance!
I should have accepted that Engineer's Job offer from Chrysler Corp!

Well guess what...
It has been raining here and the floor is WET (soaked) on the pass side FRONT footwell.
This is driving me NUTS!
What else to try?
(For you wise guys out there....I don't have room in the barns and shop)

Wet Floor

I had the same problem with my 98.5 wet rug on drivers side, but without cab lights. I removed the rear seat and had my buddy hit the rear window with a garden hose, there it was leaking in from the gasket. Now I had already been to the glass company and he said
it was fine, wrong!!!! The only problem is they had to break the rear window to replace gasket. Thank U Allstate!! No More Water In Cab, hope this helps.

What I cannot understand is how is it possible for the water to go from the REAR window seal to the FRONT floorpan?
There is a hump there!
Nevertheless,I will check out the rear window seal...
It don't cost me nothing and if it worked for you,it may work for me!!
Thanks for the reply!

Hey Dave.
It took me awhile (weeks) to find the problem. With the floor board rugs being wet I assumed
the water was coming in from the front of the truck. The water was actually running behind the
rear seat and flowing along the seam in the floor under the step shield and into the front floor area. I hope this helps.
