I didnt really like the ppe on my truck,, acted too much like a bullydog,, tranny hunting,, pulsing on highway etc. Not my favorite

PPE HOT vs SMARTY

I have and run both. I'm not getting the pulsing on the PPE HOT that some do,... don't know what's the difference why some do and some don't. By SOTP I'd say they are neck and neck. I prefer to run the SMARTY for daily driving because the engine sounds better (less injector rattle),.. not that the PPE has a lot but it is definitely more on MY truck. The PPE has a little LESS smoke on take offs but if I watch it a bit the SMARTY is ok and doesn't p... people off. I am running sticks so that may affect some of the smoking or not on both boxes. A little track time will take the guessing out of the evaluation but the local track is not an option till Spring.

Several weeks ago I drove out to Denver to ATS and used the PPE going out and the SAMRTY coming back and both at 70 to 75mph on cruise gave me low 20's mpg hand calculated. They both have very good efficiency I would say. The truck wasn't loaded.
