I have a friend who will give me his power puck. I really don't know anything about it. I do know it is a mild box that stacks well with the predator.
What I would like to know if anybody has stacked it with the smarty, how much hp, Is it a pressure only box How do you turn it on or off or select levels? Is it worth me putting it on? Some Insight would be great

I ran one with BD scary larry and it is a nice mild pick me up on the bottom end. It has an adjustable switch for off 60/90.

The downfall of this is that it does not boost fool at all and you need to add one end inline.

MP-8 or Dr P does boost fooling and is a sharper increase in pressure as compared to the puck.

Give it a try it may be perfect with the smarty. I dont have one (smarty) so I dont know about that.

 

If you look at your switch you will notice a notch on one side. Flipping the switch to that side is the 90hp setting. Center is the "Off" setting. Flipping the switch opposite the notch is the 50hp setting.

 

It came off a 07 so I think it will work on my early 06. I just don't know about timing because The smarty works best on added timing levels and I'm running beta 4.4 Is boost fooling going to be a issue even though I have a boost resistor that came with the turbo. Is the puck just a pressure box or does it do timing and duration as well?

 

The Puck is pressure only. No boost fooling. The R7131 works on 06-07 Rams Cummins. I 'Think" your Smarty is boost fooling. The resistor on your turbo plug will help you make more boost without codes but on mine I will throw an overboost code once I reach over 40 psi....

 

Right now I can hit 50 psi no problem. How much pressure does it add? I wonder if anybody has tried this before? just wierd cause I have never heard of any body doing This stack before

 

hey Dodgezilla, is the switch for the puck on an 07 different than a switch on an 03? the reason i ask is my instructions for my puck say that the notch on my switch is the 50hp setting,middle is stock,and to the far left of the notch is 90hp setting

 

I read that they misprinted those positions and it is actually the opposite of what is in the directions. I know mine feels stronger with it switched to the Notch side....

 

Mine feels stronger and acts like it runs better on teh notched side also. Dont know why but it does. That is where mine stays.
