Question power loss / no smoke / I needs help please

ok guys i was driving my 03 6spd 2 wks ago and felt a big power loss and no smoke with the Edge on 5 (must have happened over night not while driving), ok well i thought the lift pump went kuput so i ordered a Fass 200 gph with ajustable pressure and just installed it yesterday and fuel filters... and guess what same diffrence feels like stock power and no smoke under any circumstance. boost before was at 40#s and egts just kept going up well now i get 35#s and egts halt at about 945 no codes (recently still holding 2146 and 2149 from a month and a half ago but still had power then) here is the deal the truck does idle fine, does not sound funny shake or nothing like that i really need help as i drive a 100 miles to work a day is the fca running in a stuck position where it will run fine and will have power limitations?

i am also interested in the benefits to capping the pressure relief valve

thanks in advance- Eric

Sounds like something might have happen to the Edge.

For testing you can remove the banjo fitting on the pressure relief valve and see if any fuel is bypassing with the engine running.

Should be right on top of the pressure relief valve.

Oh, the pressure relief valve is on the fuel rail. It's a vertically mounted cylinder on top of the rail with a metal line coming off of it. Whatever you do do not remove any of the fuel lines on the rail!!! Super high pressure and is very dangerous.

Hmmm. Should be dry. If fuel is in the line the valve is leaking. Did you rev the engine a few times to increase the rail pressure? May only leak at the higher pressures.

Try turning the edge off to see if you can feel a difference. Play with the connections on the edge and play with the settings. Might be the edge took a dump. Do you have another truck you can try swaping parts with, a buddys truck or something. I have heard if the IAT sensor goes out it may not throw codes and the truck will not fuel.

i called edge talked to a guy for 45 min and he didn't really say this or that but did give me information to send the unit back to me its looking like that is the issue but searching and searching thread after thread im leaning towards cracked injector bodies? (with no smoke if thats possible) COV or FCA or here is the one that will keep me up tonight that the stock lift pump (03 model with intank) DIED a while ago and the Cp3 pulled fuel through it and severly injured itself while not really saying anything to me in the way of sputtering or running funny in anyway besides the lack of Smoke and Boost numbers and the seat of the pants dyno

PLEASE TELL ME GOD WHAT DO I DO

Clear your codes, and make sure you are not in a limp mode of some sort. Also, pull the edge off. If it stills has stock power I am really guessing that the box took a dump.

Does it feel like you have stock power?
