PMT Rail pressure monitor question

PMT Rail pressure monitor question
As with the PMT monitoring boost, it will only read what the ECU sees so if you are suing a boost fooler, it will not be accurate.
Is this the case for the rail pressure monitor function as well? Say I wanted to run an MP8, does that "fool" in the same way a boost fooler does?
Thanks,
Travis

I don't think so. Unlike a boost "fooler" that sends inaccurate data to the ECM, the MP8 is programmed to increase fuel pressure by telling the ECM to increase fuel pressure(no false input is used)

yes it will if you use the mp8 you will get the fooled readings, this is also true if you use the quad guage and wire it before the mp8 i ran into this problem i had the quad wired in before and was getting the same reading on the pmt as the quad, the reading were low for my setup so i called and they told me to wire it in the after and the reading were comp diff from the quad to the pmt the quad was showing true presure while the pmt was reading the fooled numbers
