PML front dif cover hitting frame & cracked!!

I have a PML front dif cover on my 2006 Mega DRW CTD 4x4. I bought the cover because I heard folks say that the Mag Hytec like I have on the rear has clearance issues. I thought I was in the clear.

I have had the cover hit the frame twice. Both were from normal on road driving, but one was from a dip in the road due to construction and the other was from a rough railroad crossing. The cover now has a slight oil damp spot on the top that i am sure is due to a hair line crack. Has anyone else had issues with this? What did you do about it?

I have a PML on the front too but I have never heard of this problem before. Do you have a way to post a pic?

The arrows point to the points of contact. The cover contacts the track bar mount.

Grind that bracket down...I can make the stocker hit if I try hard enough.

That was my only move I could see. I could notch that bracket.

It sucks that the cover is cracked. You can see the damp spot from oil. It must be a hairline crack. I am sure that I can get it very clean and a dab of JB Weld smoothed over and painted again would never be noticed, but it still sucks.

Rough it up on the inside over the crack and JB weld that side too. It will stick.
