Plug for Brake Controller

I am getting a Tekonsha Prodigy BC & was wondering if the pigtail/plug that came in a plastic bag in the glove comp. for a BC is all I need to hook it up? I asked in the towing forum but figured I might get a more specific response here seeing as I think all 3rd gens w/ the towing package came w/ this pigtail/plug for hooking up BC's. TIA !

yes the pigtail is all you hook up. The pigtail sends power to the controler, power to the brakes, and the brake lamp feed.

You can buy a ready made harness from Tekonsha (or where you ordered your brake controller) that will plug into the Dodge connector and the brake controller. That way you don't have to worry about making any splices. The harness costs around $10.
