My truck never sees temps above 1300 with my Smarty and Silver 62, however my heatshield is a dark gold color between cylinders 2-4??? I've seen others on here that are tinted? Please let me know what yours looks like, and what temps your running.

 

Here is a picture of mine. It has seen a few over 1700* EGTs on the track in the last couple years. Lastest software and stack usually does not get over 1600* on the track and rarely sees above 1350* on the street. With the lastest Smarty versions has not seen over 1250* on the street. Truck is triple stacked with the mods in my signature and has over 80k miles now.
