Please Help Lots invested and still Broke?????
. I'll be on the rollers in two weeks With TNT-R and a stg 3, Should be interesting. Just shows Bob is a good dude
It appeared to me that the rubber came from when the fitting was attached to the draw tube. I think the original installer must have been working on a bench with a rubber mat on top. While screwing in the fitting and trying to hold the draw tube, the tube cut out a dime size chunk of rubber mat. The cardboard most likly came from the box the pump was shipped in. The return fitting is pre installed and may have slammed agianst the side of the box and bit out a chunk.
This is just my guess, we will never really know. But I think we will all pay a little closer attention to pump installs. I'm gonna blow out all the lines before installing any systems from now on.

Haven't posted in here because I know I couldn't have helped diagnose your problem but I have been following it so I'm glad to see it was something as simple as debris in the lines/tank.
I also wanted to post on this I don't know the story behind why but to me that doesn't matter. As an outsider looking in that is way too cool for a vendor or whatever you wanna call Bob to do. I don't own a Smarty yet but I will real soon and it's for reasons like this. All I've read on all the different forums is how the Smarty rocks and about the awesome customer service. This just proves it to me once again. Sorry for the hijack guys.

I laugh a little inside every time I see a truck go by with a big windshield sticker advertising for them.
