If i get a 3 guage pillar pod from genos garage will i lose my handle on the pillar? i really need it and was curious cause i cant find any good pictures thanks for the help and time

 

yes you will lose the handle thats why im going with the dash pod.

I never used the thing anyhow, I'm not that short and the trucks not that high and if I can use my nerfs if I have to.

 

Have you seen the in dash pods? My 03 has the small storage under the blower controls.Autometer sells a triple gauge faceplate that mounts directly in the storage box and aims the gauges up and at the driver.I had the pillar mount and went to this so I could get my stock pillar back on.Not sure but I believe they sell this for late models also.

The guy who owned the 2002 before me had the guages mounted in some what like the console mount. I really didn't like them there because you have to look right down to look at the guages. At least with the pillar or dash you still have a clear view of the road and an easy glance to see the guages.... that far down... you don't

cool thanks guys for all the help i appreciate it im short so i need the handle but im thinking about geting a mount from lazarsmith ( sorry could be spelled wrong) looks like you can keep the handle. I just like the look of it on the pillar to and everyone can see them lit up to . thanks for all the help its greatly appreciated!

I`m liking the console mount myself , but that`s where my 4WD switch is located...taking up about 1/3 of the space...and not useable with the autometer 3 guage pod....

I`m thinking of fabbing up something so I can keep the switch and still have 1 or 2 of my guages in there. If I go with the trans temp in the console and the fuel pressure in the SRT pod , I think it will work. I don`t keep a constant eye on the tranny guage , so if it`s a bit out of the way , it would be O.K.

I`ve been without my handle for 2 weeks now , and HATE it. My trucks too big to get in and out of without it , and I don`t like useing the steering wheel
