4-guage A-pillar pod???

Has anyone heard of a 4-guage pod for the A-pillar? I need 4 gauges and haven't seen one of these around. Has anyone else come up with a good location to mount the fourth guage?? If so, let me know!!!!

You can get a mounting plate to mount the 4th gauge in the dash where the cubby hole is. I think Geno's sells one.

If you want, I can fiberglass you in a gauge pod right between your tach and your speedo. You can see what I'm talking about in my member's photos.

Thanks guys. I will check Geno's for the cubby pod. Thanks Big Blue for the offer. Your setup looks good.

I had single gauge steering column pod -easy to mount and install wires inside column (with electric gauge)...but I just didn't like having dash warning lights covered. Also didn't much care for elec. gauge.
Have you seem Wildcat's Rod Pod? Holds 4 gauges and the one I saw on on a truck looked sharp.

Some people don't care for the A-pillar...especially taller drivers with the seat all the way back. The pillar does block some vision in addition to the windshield post. I almost hit a bike rider before I recognized the potential problem. Easy to get use to once you know about it but something to be aware of if your over 6'.

Thanks all for the help. I ordered the flat plate from Geno's to mount in the cubby. I haven't investigated how much trouble it is to run behind there. I have just recently gotten a fuel press. guage and Trans temp. I guess that the fuel press should go in the pillar and the trans temp in the dash. Anybody hooked up the gauge lights to the dash dimmer???

I put my fuel pressure gauge in the cubby hole using the plate from Geno's. I've got the other three mounted in the A-pillar. The install wasn't hard and I pulled the power for the gauge lights off of the light in the ashtray. It dims with the dimmer that controls the other dash lightsl

I am 6'2" and I dont think I would care much for the A-Piller Mounts. What I see over the dash right above the speedo is just mostly hood anyways. So with a Four Gauge Pod right there wouldnt block any of my vision and Its always right there instead of off to the side where I cannot see it readily. Another option That I was thinking of doing is getting two 2 Gauge pods and putting them on either side of the dash with the factory gauges being the centre of the two.

That's what I wish I would have done.

I might still be able to pull it off, would have a hole in my dash where the 4th cup was mounted though.

Thanks for the info Dennis. I have ordered the dash kit from Geno's. That is a good idea for tapping into the dimmer curcuit. Is your fuel pressure gauge mechanical to the gauge? Where did you get the fuel line small enough to get through the dash grommet?

The gauge is a Westach electrical. Just had to run two wires from the sender threw through the firewall.
