Just curious if this is the real macoy..... I bought it probably a year ago and am gonna need it for my new Airdog 100 install.... Never seen a picture of one so I guess I bought it on a whim and a prayer...

Oops, still waiting on the admin to approve it.... The photo is in my photo gallery... Guess I will post it up when it is approved.

Yes, that is the good 03-4.5 fuel cannister WITHOUT the in-tank pump.

That is a great find. I have 2 pics of these in my gallery also.

More pics are here too:

Your version has the extra vent (looks brown in your picture) that mine and others do not. I'm not sure what this vent is for.

Have fun.. Joe

Your 05 will have the newer type, like the other one in Stealth's link. (similar to the Liberty one I modded)

Right.. But I plan to remove my in-tank for a external.. I don't need more flow so the 04.5 325 canister is plenty. I just want to have the ability to keep the pressure up with my extra filters (3 total) and to bypass the pump if it fails and allow the CP3 to work on a vacuum.. (i.e. in the woods and the LP fails).. So the 04 canister will work with no mods needed.

You will need the Jeep Liberty canister. That will get it done for ya.

Like I said, I bought it about a year ago from someone on here. Found it in the DTR Classifieds. I couldn't pass it up and snagged it for $50.00 including shipping. I figured I would use it someday but didn't think it would be because my intank LP took a crap..... Go figure. The ones that hardly anyone have any issues with and I have the problem. That is par for the coarse.

Is there a reason the OE canister doesn't work?

The sock one has the pump in it, you could use it but modify it by removing the pump.
I'm not sure from your post above what you're going to do, are you eliminating the stock pump and going with an AD?
That's what I did but I used the Liberty.

The stock one from 03-04 does not have a pump in it. Its just a canister.. But designed for our fuel tank, and our truck. Which is why its easier than the Liberty one.

But I'm pretty sure it won't fit your truck.
Compare the one shown above to the one I modified in my signature, completely different.
