Haven't done this to my Ram, but the usual problem with upgrading fog light bulbs is if you go higher wattage they get hot and crack the lens.

I put the PIAA's in my truck almost immediately. Made a good difference, but lasted 3 months. Put Silverstars in and got rid of those ASAP. Using Hella bulbs now in my headlights. Lasted so far since Feb 05 and still going well.

I did the Silverstars with a relay kit on my 96. Was a good improvement altogether.

I did the PIAA's in my Dodge Durango a couple of years ago. The improvement was marginal at best. I'd go with the Sylvania silverstars or the Hella's instead. The PIAA's were something like $89/pair and the others are cheaper.

I have PIAA pencil beam lights and ionized fog lights. I've had three bulbs burn out so far in 11 months. For the price, I expected more.
