Page 8 of Xzillaraider standard question.

It states that this page does not apply to 06+ and XZT, what doesn't apply?

The location of the data link?

The plugging in of the data link?

I'm still wondering if mine should blink any color's.
Page 5 is a little vague,
Blink Sequences: 5th down show's it should blink GREEN,RED,ORANGE/YELLOW for a 03-04 XZT Module, But says nothing about an 06' model ??
I know I don't get any color's blinking.

Don't need Data link on XZT or Xzillaraider for 06? Or neither?

The blink sequence is on page 2 IIRC, the book is in the truck and I ran out there to glance at it when you asked about your XZT blinking.

I just down loaded the instruction book from Quads web site.
That book says ZERO about the XZT blinking. I'm really lost now.
There has to be few versions of the install manual. On the one I got off the web page It doesn't have the red writeing that says THIS PAGE DOES NOT APPLY TO XZT MODEL, for some reason.

Hi JUZ,

It is a little confusing. 2004.5- 2007 are similar No Data link for XZT.

Blink Sequence note: Orange/yellow is one color one blink. It must have been difficult to describe this color.

Yours should blink green,(orange/yellow),(orange,yellow) green. Now there is one more blink and the color depends on the level your commander is set on. If it is level three the color is red. By default the XZT when connected to the Commander the XZT will not blink the last color but will turn off because the Commander default to 0. You must push the up button to increase the power level.

Thanks Shortbed,
I'm not able to adjust HP modes with my XZT. I know by reading the web site that it is possible, but I'm not sure mine can, or don't know how.
I'm still not seeing any blinking lights when I start the truck ?? I'll call Quad in the AM I'm sure they can set me in the rite direction.

First, no data link needed for 06 and newer trucks or ANY XZT box.

Second, if you are running an XZT currently and your truck drives good and runs good then the LED is on. On the top side of the box, opposite of the Domed Sticker there is a hole. Look in that hole and you will see the LED. The truck has to be on or running. If it is a current XZT is should be RED.

You can only adjust the XZT modules with a Commander.

Thanks qzilla, I wasn't looking in the right place for the lights. All of the instruction booklets I have say nothing on how to adjust power settings?
