p0191 Help !!!

I was driving on the interstate the other day w/ cruise set about 70 mph and I went to pass a car " playing around" , bumped the edge up to level 5 and it accelerated fine then it was like you hit the rev limiter it just quit pulling but ran fine after I let off, so I took the cruise off and tried it again ran fine put the cruise back on and tried it again , same thing as the first time. When I got home I cycled the key to check codes p0191 comes up, I put my code reader on it to erase it and it says that there are no codes[dummy] I dont understand why it will not read it. The truck runs good no troubles that I notice, iin fact according to the over head the fuel mileage is better than it has ever been. Anyone have any advice on this code or if it is anything to worry about. Thanks

Thanks guys, I looked in the website you suggested but I have not found that thread yet but I will keep looking. I can't figure out why when I cycle the key it will give me that code, but when I hook my obdII scanner up to it , it says that there is no codes?

FWIW, my truck has that code and has had it ever since I got my mp8. I think it comes and goes in my truck though, and with enough key strokes I think it will erase.

IMO is the truck runs fine I would worry about it too much.

But if you find the thread about it I wouldnt mind reading it too.
