I second that. The series 9000 is great stuff. Been using for over 5 years now.

If you are in Canada, consider using Esso XD3 0W40. It is a fully synthetic PAO that is recommended for and tested in Canada. It can be found reasonably priced at Walmart. Meets CI4 standards, which is the standard required in the 06 manual. Just make sure you have enough mileage and you are good and broke in to use syn. I did an oil analysis to make sure for mine. This stuff will pump at -40 and still provide MORE than enough protection in the summer.

I switched to amsoil 25k miles ago and have been happy. I change it at 20k and there are no problems with it when I sent it out for analyzing. It cost me about $85 for an oil change but lasted 2.5 times longer than reg oil.

Thumbs up oils

well i got the oil changed today and i questioned the oil man that was there and he has been using ams oil for 5 years in everything he has....and has had no problem with it cold-hot weathers.. and all my oil and gas buddies use it to. and they have had no problem either. so thats what i went with...but holy crap that **** isnt cheap 172 dollars later..thats for the oil and them to change it and a 110 point inspection...but thanks again for all the help men..... and yes there is so many oils out there....i think i should make my own...

just become a preferred customer and order it direct, alot cheaper and easy to change or pay someone to change it for really cheap.
