Sounds about right for the HO. Mine was the same until I installed the Rokktech crankshaft sensor that add some timing. Now I running a max of 1100 degrees and about 500 degrees cruising.

My 2005 with the bully dog on exteme and the juice on level 5 on a WOT to about 100 egts only hit about 1250. I have no problems with egts at all. I think it just depend on the truck. Cruising at about 70 egts are between 500 and 650.

Kman does your pyro probe happen to be post turbo? I run the BD on Crazy Larry and hit 1500 at 70mph

no it is pre turbo, I have asked about it on here quite a few times. I hear everybody talking about thier egts running so high. But then I can even get it to hit 1400 with both chips turned on. The thing is my truck seems to run about the same egts with the chips turned on or off. I was even thinking about it today so I was pulling a hill no load and had the juice on level 2 and bully dog turned off. Pulling the hill in 5th gear WOT Til about 70 mph the gauge went to 1126 and thats it so I don't know. ANy reasons why my truck might run so cool?
