After pulling the silencer ring earlier today I went for a couple hour cruise around the city and on the highway. But it seems the turbo makes more of a jet engine sound with a whistle at the end than a whistle all the way through. Also when i let off the fuel , even when not being aggresive there is a more prominent Wooosh sound. Is this normal? And will the silencer being pulled possibly lead to more turbo barking? Thanks.

The sounds you hear, at least the way you describe them are normal... it should make no difference to the barking.
