noisy ad150 question?
i checked the lines, and removed the water seperator to check the "seal"... where is the seal? i dont see one anywhere on the unit under the water seperator... anyone got a pic of what this seal looks like or where it's located? i can hear the pump with the engine running, pretty sure it's supposed to be quieter than that... isnt it?

the seal is just the black oring on the w/s top....lube both sides with diesel or oil and spin them back on...noise often means air leak...or restricted suction line....

ok are you talking about the seal on top of the filter itself? im only getting 17 psi also, and it comes down to 12 driving at 55 mph..... seems like thats kinda waaay low... so far im not at all happy with this thing

17psi idle is normal/what they come set at......I'm thinking restriction if your sucking down the psi that easy...

it stays at 12 psi while driving normal speeds. i disconnected the suction side and ran it into a 5 gal fuel can, does the same thing and i can see it's getting fuel. checked the w/s several times. called pureflow, did what they said to do, now they're sending me a new unit.... so far nothing has gone right with this thing, but at least they are standing behind what the sell... boy i tell ya, if there's a bad one in the bunch ever, that will be the one i get every time.

guess it can happen to all of us.
my AD150 is still real quiet....it's still louder then a walbro or stock pump....but not excessively loud at all.

i can hear mine in the truck while it is running. i have all the fittings correct along with clamps on the fittings just to make sure no air gets in but somehow it still does and you can hear is sucking through ever now and then
