Nitrous+Smarty+Edge+50lb. of Boost+Stock Head Gasket and Bolts!!!

Not what you guys are thinking. I'm sure you were looking for carnage, but you'll find none here. Now I'm not keeping things this way for long, just that I didn't have time to install the headbolts before I had to do some racing. And I just said to the heck with it and thru caution to the wind. So far, after 1 1/2 10# bottles and nearly 15 runs. No worse for the wear. Thats with the Smarty on Lev.9 and Edge on lev.5.

You need to spend the time and install the STUDS. The 50lbs of boost won't hurt the engine but when you add the nitrous to the mix it raises the drive pressures and that will do your head gasket in

What you are seeing on your boost gauge is much lower then what your head gasket is seeing.

Yeh, I know this. Hence the reason I said it won't stay this way very much longer. As far as the times, the racing I was doing was not at a track, but a little underground stuff.

That underground stuff is more fun then the track, most of the time. It is just a little too risky for me.

So you're running a triple stack of SMARTY, HOT Juice, Predator?

And your posted time of 12.49 is with the NOS or not?

Thats without the NOS. Great times, he sould be able to drop 2-4 tenths off of that with the NOS if he doesn't spin the tires too bad.

All you need now is a set of slicks and you'll be set for quick street.

That's very good time w/out the NOS. No doubt he'll be in the 11's. That's my personal goal.

I'm still running the standard Juice. And the Smarty was borrowed. I didn't seem to get any performance boost with the Smarty vs. Diablo with the truck as is. A modded CP3 may help that tho.

Yeh, with simple traction mods I'll be in in the 11's easy. All this still on the stock CP3!!!!!! After the headbolts, I'll be headed to the track to get some stock street tire times. Then, soon after the ladder bars and drag radials are on I'll post some more times.

Next time we meet Billy, I'll be running in the Quick Diesel class.

John,

after you got some Nitrous to run with the stack did the 1/4 miles on your display change anymore?? I know you said it was showing a lil quicker than the Diablo, with just the SMARTY's timing, I was wondering what it did when you sprayed it...

he is not running the BD in this stack...He also had detuned the Diablo and startd to run the SMARTY's timing, he may have changed that up since he left my hosue when he came to borrow the SMARTY.
