I am picking up my 2006 3500 4x4 Mega cab short bed dualie this week. This is to replace my 1997 2500 that I bought new and put 310,000 miles on it. Best truck I ever owned. Hope this one is the same. This one has 47K miles on it and looks like new. My buddy has it on a lease and I am buying out the lease. Well, my questions are as follows: 1- It has leather heated seats and I want to put seat covers on it to protect them. I checked around and no one even mentions heated seats in their ads for seat covers including the dealer. Is this something to wory about or do the seat covers breathe enough?
2-I had changed the trans. fluid at 50K intervals in my last truck, so I will do the same here. Any preference on trans fluids for this one as I just used ATF-4 in the last one. 3- I have always used Amalie oil in my last diesel for the life of the truck. Plans are to use it on this one as well. Thoughts?

Seat covers shouldn't affect the heated seats...

ATF+4 is required for our trannies...

Never heard of the oil, but as long as it meets factory requirements...

you should be fine.
