v20 downloaded. Probably be until the end of the week before I drive it though. i'll post again when I've got an update.
FWIW, I've come to like the way v19 works. It just took me awhile to learn how to get the most out of it. It's almost like driving a small-displacement gas engine with a big cam, single-plane intake manifold and an 850 CFM Street Dominator...floor it and it'll fall flat on it's face, but gently goose that bottom-end before hitting the floormat, and the mid-range and top-end come on fast and hard.

Maybe it's just that I'm missing the huge push when the mid-range used to hit on the old tune...it just seems flat to me on the bottom end when I push hard on the pedal. Half-throttle or less and there's no issue (and almost no smoke), but full throttle with low boost and it just doesn't go anywhere. We'll see what v20 does Friday.

I've noticed mine has a tick less snap at first hard throttle but does recover fast or does better from a rolling heavy throttle. This is why I say smoke is less at a min. It still plums at first but is clears quicker. 5.10 seemed better for quicker spool but isn't as smooth as v19. Oh I must be able to see the future, cause didn't I say "just wait once you figure v19 v20 will be out"

I have very old software for my Jr. and there was always some confusion to what the order was as far as most advanced timing and most aggresive tqm. Could someone list the order....1234/defaults for each (for the most current version). Thanks I have been away for a long time. I think I have the first version where you could pick the different timing/torque settings

S%^T!!
I've been tryiong to get the download to work for the past hour with no sucess...
Downloaded everything from MADS, but the program either shows up as a PDF file or if I can get it to doenload as a 7zip, it will not open with the program...and the computor will not recognize the JR..

Pretty much my assessment as well. I did notice a bit more low-end smoke, and it seems slightly more responsive at low boost, but the jury is still out. The overhead is also up 0.2, but I won't know what it's really doing until I fill next week.

I wonder if it would be possible for them to disable the lamp out indicator in the program for the headlights, parking lights, turns signals. This would be great for HID and LED light installs that currentky require inline resitors to fool the computer. I know sometime after 2003 there was an option in the computer to disable it for aftermarket body upfitters. Seems like it shouldn't be too hard and a nice feature to have.

Don't know what difference might be but version 20 versus what ever was available a year ago (failed to note before updating) on same setting (SW 7) similar conditions (70 mph all interstate) 5 MPG loss
Only difference old version on Sinclair fuel, new version was Conoco-Phillips.
