New Smarty. Best level to run it on???

Hi folks. Just purchased a new Smarty and i'm wondering what's the best level to run it on. Also, whats the difference with timing vs. no timing? best level for MPG? Smarty manual doesn't say a whole lot and i'm curious what other owner's have to say about it. Have a 6 speed and running it with stock clutch. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just for fun, what level can i blow a lot of smoke with!?

Big tires with stock clutch. No more than level 5 to be safe (unless you want to replace the clutch). If towing a lot better drop it down to level 3.

With timing the injection is advanced for cooler EGTs. With your setup I recommend using the added timing.

Level 5 I don't get much smoke, but on level 7 it's decent.

Like sai d above run odd #'s unless you stack anything with the smarty, i run SW5 and i like it, i ran SW3 when i first got it and it pulls hard, but just couldn't stand it not knowing what other levels felt like, i'm still getting up the courage to load level 9(stock clutch) SW5 has yet to slip my clutch although i haven't been that hard on it, so if you stick to 3 or 5 you will be OK! Have fun

The temptation may be great, but level 9 on a stock clutch??? Level 9 is a drug. Just say no to drugs, as you have no tolerance for it!

Odd numbers (with timing), no higher than level 5, aftermarket turbo if you want higher boost / cooler egt's and great power....dont think the tq mgmt matters on the manuals....

Enjoy, they're a blast!

I've only had mine 2 weeks. Put on level 8 stacked with my quad race for pressure. I usually leave it ( quad ) 0ff but like having a little adj. with it. Of course the next day we put a S.B. dd 3250 in it as it would slip the stock clutch. I think you could try all levels if you have stock turbo and sticks? I would not be able to NOT try them all. Now if I can have the patience to figure out how to download a different program! Good luck, have fun and be safe.

Level 9 is good, Level 9 Wild better, Level 9 Wild w/ MP-8 best

I think I am up to the Smarty equivalent of crystal meth. TNT-R is the big ol' crack rock setting!

Just put it on 9 and get it over with. You will need a clutch anyway... your a diesel addict! I just got a little box for fuel economy and now look.
