Smile new to dtr and diesels for that matter.

Just wanted to start off by saying this is the most informative site that i have ever seen. This is my first diesel and i'm loving it. started off looking for some free mods did the tone ring then the silencer removal. thanx
Now the real question which intake do you recommend i've been looking and really have confused myself more. anyway besides all that thankyou again.

Welcome!

You can search the forum on intakes...you'll find a whole lot of info.

Intakes are pretty much a personal preference to me. Most of them do pretty good...just depends how much you want to spend.

I'd look at a Scotty, AFE, or AEM kit. All of them are good and would probably make you happy.

AFE stage II or volant. Both are good IMO, but the volant costs alot less.

A free mod is to just drill out the bottom of your stock air box. It has worked for a lot of guys, without any problems. Do a search and you will find a lot of info on it.
