I also have the Luverne bars. I like them a lot. The Westin bars kinda have a bad reputation in my area.

Luverne nerf bars are polished stainless steel and look like they're chrome!!!
I purchased mine at Carmicdirect.com for $272 delivered. best price I could find.

Thumbs up Westin platinum series.

I have the westin platinum in chrome. Supports me w/no problems at 260#. Easy to install. My buddy has the wheel to wheel on his 04 Silverado and they look good and are just as strong.

Those Back Country nerf bars look pretty nice in the wheel-to-wheel application. I may have to look into those as well.

Currently I am looking at:

http://nerf-bars.com/dodge-full-leng...-nerf-bars.htm

They appear pretty close to the Back Country's. They might even be the same bar.

A 5" x 2" tube on its side looks real nice. Cost me $100 total with powder coating and I can lift the truck up with them before they bend...

Get the Nasta stainless steel (not coated, the real deal) nerfs. Do a search on ebay, they can be had for around $255.00 + shipping. I have a set on my 03 QC SB, they hold my 240lbs just fine. I paid around $550 for mine installed. The wife is short in the height department, needed a set asap. The best thing about the Nasta bars, is all of the bolt on hardware is stainless steel, nuts, bolts and brackets. And for $255.00, you cannot go wrong, trust me.

Oh, they look absolutely MARVELOUS on the truck!
