Need tool to turn flywheel for clutch?

Hello. I have an SB clutch and I need to take a gander at it. With the DMF there are bolts on the engine side of the flywheel but not on my 3250, right?

Thanx.

The only way you are going to be able to look at it is to pull the trany.

Are you asking about a baring tool?

Thanx guys, I know I got to take it out, I am asking about the tool. Is it called a baring tool? The one that you remove a plate to get to and spin the flywheel to get to torque converter or DMF bolts.

I think I am good to go w/o it, right?

Yeah - the Baring Tool... I wouldn't leave home w/o it!

I even made an adapter for the right-angle 18V drill to speed up those between-rounds lash adjustments.

if you have the tranny already off grab the pressure plate and you can rotate the motor by hand.

I have a auto. but when I had to rotate to remove the convertor bolts, I just used a long screwdriver and a pivot point (had srewdriver tip in teeth). When I installed the new trans., used the inspection opening as a pivot (fucrum) for the screwdriver.

jmccart why are you pulling your trans? You seem to have the same sound coming from your clutch as I have had from day one. My truck is still driving great. I responded to your last post ,but no returns.

Sorry for the delay jmccart I just read the last post in your last thread seems like topper says there is something wrong going with my clutch ,and I guess yours too. I hope we both can get this figured out. I was just under the impression that the DD's were suppose to sound like this?

Turn it via the front crank pully. That is what I did. My barring tool didn't fit. Just my luck.
