ocassionally if the FCA is damaged, this will work to get it running. It will not run correct, but it may get it to fire off and help narrow it down

Ok, I took the FCA off and it slid freely. This was after unhooking the sensor and tryin to crank it. I went ahead and made double sure everything was smooth and took the triangle valve piece back out and sanded it some more.
I put it back in and still no crank. It will turn over but no fire. I did notice that the end cap looks a little worse for the wear. Could that have anything to do with it?
I am kinda startin to get worried hear.
Should I try a new FCA? New cp3?
Help
PS I now have a 2509 and a 0251

I would try a new FCA first. How high was the rail pressure on your WOT run? The fact that it will not fire sounds like it is not building rail pressure. Unless the ECM sees a preset minimum pressure, it will not fire the injectors.

I THINK the 2059 is because I let the batteries get week trying to crank it.
I did drop my t30 socket and could not find it. But I didnt realy think it was a problem and didnt look that hard. I figured it would fall out.
Is is possible that, that is my problem??? When I really hammered on it, it could have made the t30 shift and is grounding the ECM??? CAN THAT FRY MY ECM???
Any tips on pullin my ECM off to see if anything is touching it?

Don't know if this helps or matters but here goes.
Removing the FCA includes discarding the mounting bolts and using new ones. Remove and discard o-rings. Use new ones only. Shake FCA... it should rattle. If not, it's bad, replace. Apply light grease to new o-rings, make sure FCA is flush with mounting surface, then tighten bolts in two stages. CAUTION-do not wait between tightening stages- the new bolts might lose their ability to retain torque. 27inch pounds first, then 62 in-pnds.
Don't know why these bolts are such a specific application but it sounds like you can have problems if these directions aren't followed exactly.
If this is all common knowledge, sorry for wasting time. I've never read thru the whole modding the cp3 threads. Good luck.

I appreciate it, and no, I did not use new bolts or O rings, and it was not common knowledge for me BUT I dont know how that could cause the truck to shut off abruptly. The truck ran fine for at least 20 minutes and I started it and shut it off 2 or 3 times before taking it out and runnin it for the 20 min.
I think I am gonna call Floor it today and also try and take my ecm off of the block and see if I can find a ground.
Also when I shake the FCA it does rattle.
