does anyone have the dodge part# for this hood the guy i just called at the dealership said that the scoop is seperate from the hood?

 

is the scoop made into the hood or is serparate??

it's a whole separate piece. then you have the insert that goes into it. It very well could only come with the whole hood. I remember a little while back someone else was looking for one cause he found a great deal but, it didn't have the part you're looking for. Don't know if he ever got it handled.

 

The SRT hood is one piece. They also have that bolt on hood scoop they use for the 1/2-ton HEMI trucks. Your parts guy is confusing the two.

 

There is the insert that goes into the scoop but the hood and scoop are one.....

 

The scoop and grille are a seperate part #.I'm the one that found the used hood missing the scoop insert.It only cost around $60 for the scoop and grille,but I got the grille that is blocked off.Now if you're ordering new from dealer it might come with all this included.

 

The SRT hood comes as a special order kit part #82208702. This includes the hood, bezel, grille insert, and mounting hardware for the bezel and grille (everything in one box). My local dealer didn't even know this kit existed and priced everything individually at about $1150. The kit costs $684. If needed, here are the part numbers for the individual items: 5029419-AG Hood 23034034 $743; YL23TZZ-AB Molding/Bezel 23023041 $259; 5029484-AB Grille 23033041 $40.50; 55350891-AC Pad Hood 23084003 $98.60; the nuts and clips are also sold individually if needed.
