I want to get a bhaf, I currently am running the stock airbox, with the afe torque tube, ? is what bhaf is best, and what supplies and parts do I need to do this, and where to get this stuff at?

Oh will my turbo be nice and loud with a bhaf?

 

I did a search and found tons of threads and alot of good info on the BHAF.

 

#42790 is the part number for the filter. You can buy it at a truck supply or even NAPA but they will be higher in price. NAPA also drops the 4 out of the number. The filter is actually a WIX part. It should mate right up to your torque tube I believe. I put a piece of 4" pipe inside the inlet of the BHAF so it wouldn't collapse when I tried to put a clamp on it. The inlet is just rubber...
You will have to mount your air temp sensor somewhere too. If it's not hooked it will give you a CEL.....

I think all of the filters are made by Donaldson. The marine version is best but is at least twice as much.

 

could you guys give me all the dimensions of the filter, so I can go to outerwears.com and order a cover for it?

 

if you talk to the nice people at outewears and tell them what the part number off the filter is they can hook you up, they have done this before...... not hard at all and fast on the shipping.

 

It's 10.5" x 10.5". Just tell them it's for a Dodge BHAF...
