my dually with 315 bfg's
Where spacers required? If so, what kind did you use?
I am also guessing you used the stock wheels?
This helps me a lot as the tires on these dually tires wear out faster then a powerstroke on a hill.
Mine are over half worn and I only have 35,000 kilometers on the truck! Less then 1/4 is towing.

the spacers i used are 2-1/2 from performance wheel, if i was going to redo anything i would go with 2", even with the heavy loads, i am now where near rubbing the tires.
my original set of tires(goodyear) lasted 26k, the 315, i now have over 20k, and they are 1/2 tread.
my mileage is off by about 10%.
i have not had any problems with power loos to speak of, i can still run pretty good, if i am taking off hard in second i can roast the tires pretty good, and spin them shifting into thrid as well.
probably the largest load on these tires i grossed ~ 33k, and did not have any trouble.

Scotty,
The spacers go between the duals. Getting the spacers proved difficult for me. Most places I called did not have them for the new Dodge or they were no longer selling them. I had an an order placed for mine from Performance Wheel but they later notified me and cancelled my order because they had failure with their machining equipment, they did remove the charge from my credit card. I ordered mine from Stockton Wheel but Stockton Wheel had them dropship from Arrowcraft, the dually conversion company. I did make sure the spacers were hubcentric. I need to update my profile but I do have the 315's on my dually with a 4.5" lift with Bilstein's and it rides very good. The 315's ride much better than my stock Goodyear's did. There were several downsides to the Arrowcraft spacers, the factory lugnuts could not be used to attach the spacer to original wheel studs due to a washer that is built in to the factory lugnuts, I had to buy new ones from a parts store and the factory lugnuts would not fit the on the new wheel studs of the spacer because it was thicker but Arrowcraft supplied lugnuts for them. However, the with the use of the new lugnuts does not allow you to use the factory cover with the ram emblem, you can still use the rear hubcap but not the hubcap that covers the lugnuts on the duals. I also had to ream out the two outer rear wheels stud holes to accept the larger studs on the Arrowcraft adapters but they included the reamer bit. The upside is the adapter is solid steel.

Thanks for the info and replies.
I was told by Correctrac that the non tapered nut design that Dodge uses is the problem. Apparently most spacers come set up for tapered lug nuts. They also mentioned the hub issues as well.
At least now theres an option to get away from the skinny anemic tires that came with it.

taylor,
wow, sounds like you had a rough time aquiring the spacers,
i ordered mine through performance back in feb., and they shipped with new lugnuts for the inner, and i used my factory lugs for the outer, so my hubcaps are still able to be used on my truck.

Chris,
I did have a rough time and almost just gave up on them. If I knew then what I know now, I would have waited and gotten them from Performance Wheel or not done it at all. I hate the fact I can't use my inner hubcaps but other than that I am very pleased with the way it turned out.

Chris, your Road Armor rear bumper...how did it fit with the dually fenders?
We put front and back on my 04 and they are redesigning the rear and swapping it out for me as it pushed out 2" from the back of the truck and thats with some washers for spacers so it does not it the dually fenders.
That did not help as it still does 'tap' the fender at times.
Road Armor has been awesome with the resolve to this. I sent them pix and they said they would handle it asap.

Scotty,
I wish you had not told me that, I put the front road armor bumper on several months ago, no problem on the install with that one. I just recevied my rear bumper a couple of weeks ago but have not had the chance to install the rear yet, I hope part of the delay of receiving the rear bumper was resolving that design problem. Mine came with a new receiver hitch and the bumper attaches to it. Was that the way yours was? Mine is just the base bumper.
