Johnny...base bumper for rear here too.
When we put it on with the recvr we noticed it stuck out alot.

Road Armor was very receptive to my findings. I only sent the pix to them of the 2" of space yesterday.

Its probably a good thing you have not put it on yet. Maybe give them a call and let them know I mentioned this to you.

el jefe,

i have a few more trucks than listed, but the ones i use mst often are as follows.

2003 f550 w/ 40 foot flatbed for running loads from houston to freeport

2004 f550 w/ 40 foot flatbed for hauling additional loads to houston, freeport, etc....

the f550 i have drivers running them daily, so i do not use them myself much at all.

the 2003 3500 drw, it is usually hooked to the 4 horse trailer listed, or my big horse trailer 4 horse, 16' shortwall, full iving quarters with slideout, and mid tack, it has a 34' floor length

the 2002 2500 4x4 ctd ho 6spd, is used to run around town, or to haul the 32' flatbed with hay, pallets, etc.

i will soon be purchasing another 2001 3500 drw 4x4 ext cab ctd ho 6spd, and it will stay hooked to my 32' flatbed.

once i purchase the 2001, i will leave the 2002 2500 to use for running aound town, as with it being srw, it is easier to go to the bank drive thru.

i have grossed over 30k with all the trucks listed on a regular basis, and have not had any trouble, i prefer to travel with the 2003 dodge, because of the room, stereo, tv/dvd. etc.

even on my 1995 ford psd i would run 30k and no trouble, other than snapping a rear axle in houston traffic, but i got out locked the front hubs and drove home in 4x4. ( the axle carries no load itself, so i dont know that the weight actually caused the failure or not)

i paid 850 out the door for mine, installed, free rotations, etc.........

seems like they were 118 each.
look now and they are 225 each.

best bet is to get factory take offs froma h2 hummer, call the dealerships, or get on ebay and buy some.

good luck

! important!

you guys running the spacers from performance wheel
are they aluminum?
do they have a shoulder that centers the outside dual?
have you checked them for cracks after using them for a while ?

I got a set from them about a month ago and Im afraid to put them on
they are aluminum
the last set of aluminum rims I put on cracked from each lug hole to the center hole

also mine dont center the outside dual with any kind of hub
that concerns me

if you havent checked for cracks you may want to

aluminum scares me with heavy loads on them

not sure I want to sell them just yet
but would like to hear from those hauling loads with these spacers
how are they holding up?
Do they center the outside dual effectively?

I havent tried mine yet because the guy I ordered tires from got the wrong ones then tried to tack on the restocking fee to get the right ones even though it was his screw up
$20 x 7 tires = $140 + tax more than planned
NOT ACCEPTABLE

looking for a new tire dealer
