Muffler Delete - Might be to loud
Love the sound of my mufflerless '06, but it might be to loud for the neighbors. Kinda getting some dirty looks from people all ready
. Can anyone suggest a good OEM replacement muffler that bolts in. I bought a replacement pipe that fits nicely but wondering if I should quite the beast a bit.

I heard the donaldson was the way to go. I'm surprised that they think it's too loud? This is my second dodge with the muff delete and onless your hammering on it, it's really not that loud. Your neighbors must be like 80 or something. LOL

Dude! You will get used to it and so will your neighbors. I ran my 98 SPd for a while and that was way loud compared to my current truck. Give it some time. Your truck sounds great and you may be sorry if you change it....
I run 5" with nothing and the drone is getting old. I am thinking of putting a muffler back on it soon. I would look at some of these big truck places their mufflers arent as expensive as name brand places.
I got a good replacement, new neighbors!! My neighbors hate my truck, my roadrunner, the whole lot! But I told them that sound carries and I cant do anything about it. I am on my property so just deal with it
. I cant help the fact that they go to bed at 8 o clock, she had the nerve to ask me to maybe park across the street
and not in own dang driveway! The nerve

HAHA, thanks for the advice guys. I was out running around a bit and getting used to it, do you guys think the engine quites a bit once you get up to full operating temps? Just seems a little deeper and controlled. Im kinda **** about exhaust sounds. Took some dB measurements before and after.

yes it gets quite (a little) once it warms up but believe it or not, the sound will change a tad once you have the new pipe all coated with soot from the engine. I know it sounds funny but both of my 06's changed after a few hundred miles or so and somone on here attributed it to the soot build up.
