welp, i spent the better part of the weekend changing out my upper ball joints, thuren x-over steering, and thuren stabilizer...i know it doesn't sound like much, but those ball joints were a booger, since i refused to remove the hubs. anyways, i'm taking it in for an alignment in the morning, then i'll cut loose and see how good it is. my kings were supposed to come in thurs or friday, but they still haven't shown up...

no, i didn't cut them off...with the steering loose, i just used the press to press them out using the bottom part of the press pushing up on the bolt. to get them back in was a little tricky until i figured out what was going on. i couldn't get them to seat all the way until i realized that the press was pressing the hub and knuckle together...once i figured that out i wedged a screwdriver between them and the ball joint pressed in the rest of the way...

I would spray those King shocks and that Fox steering stabilizer down with some Corrosion-X. It's available at any marine store. Excellent corrosion preventer.
