Looking for suggestions of tranny shops in the midwest to overhauld/upgrade my tranny. I've contacted a couple of places, but I'm sure there are a lot more places out there than I have contacted. I e-mailed Goerend, but haven't heard back from them yet. Who have you used? Who have you heard good things about? Looking for a fair price and good work. Suggestions?

 

You need to call Goerend, really, to get a response form him. Even then it takes a few days. Once you do get him though, he will see you through very promptly.
I went through the same thing, I will say though the wait ended up being very worth it.

 

Floor It diesel in Lawrence Kansas did my tranny. Matt Gilmore in Kingdom City will also build you a good tranny. His number is 573-220-0153

 

Is Floor It a DTT builder, I assume? Matt in Kingdom City, is he a dealer for any of the "big name" companies - or what does he build? Thanks a lot. It would be great to find someone close to home who's good and qualified.

Matt is a Goerend installer or he will build it with whomever's parts you want in it.

 

Floor It is DTT cert. Mine going strong for 22,000 miles.
