Not trying to stir up anything, but they are only about 2 miles too high!!! That looks like ! Some Miter cut 5'' no higher than the cab I can see doing. Larry, will the stacks be available with mufflers and in miter cut style. Any idea on price? Thanks.

You are supposed to cut them to suit the length you want. You can even run them in the back window if it makes you happy

Yes to miter cuts and pricing is to come shortly.

Probally a stupid question . If you have the miter cut and you are parked out in a heavy rain , when you start the engine will you blow black wet soot all over the truck ? If you are not running a muffler , but have a cat , could the water rust out the cat ?

well, some people put coffee cans over their stacks when they know its going to rain, or they put drains on the pipes at the lowest point. theoretically, the rain could rust a muffler/cat out, but I dont think it would be inside the pipe for that long to rust it, but thats just my thinking

Any word on them making them with 5" T-pipe and under bed connections, looking at the pics on their site it's only 4".

I know 5" is kinda overkill for most but those who have twins (future mod) the 5" would be nice in a full SS system for those of us in the salt belt (Northern Ontario). I emailed them a couple weeks ago but never got a reply, and I havn't had a chance to call seeing I work nights.

No its just a cap made by leer im worried the exhaust noise will be louder because of the cap. im going to end the stacks about 4 inchs out of the top and mitre cut. My main ? is 4 peoplethat have stacks how loud is it in the cab when u r driving.

Some guys with stacks do end up getting rid of them because of the higher noise level. They are not for everybody. Best thing to do would be to find some one in your area with stacks and go for a ride to see how they sound.

I must say I never understood the allure of stacks. Cut a hole (or two) in your bed, take up space in your bed, worry about rain water getting in, and louder exhaust noise all for looks really. I guess I'm more of a form follows function type. Oh well, they do look cool I guess.
