I just installed MBRP's 5" Cat back exhaust with the 6" tip, and let me tell you that for $$ the product is awesome. Its a nice deep tone, but there is absolutely no drone in the cab. Also, whenever you are crusing at around 16-2k RPM it sounds stock. Super quiet in the cab, but once you get on it, it roars. Definately 2 thumbs up from me.

I'm not allowed to say what 5" system I went with, but they do sound great on our trucks!

 

I agree, the MBRP 5" kit with the 6" tip is great!

 

I have one too and really like it. It can drone though. Especially towing heavy and hanging around the lower rpms.

 

I installed an mbrp kit on a 2nd gen my dad had and the stuff fit really good.

 

I bet it can, when pulling a load. I have not had a road trip yet, so wont know how it really is until I actually put some long distance miles on it. Either way tho I am happy. If it gets rough, I will just turn up the radio some more
