Did your 03 have the L/P in the tank? I have noticed the in tank pump seems to do a little better than the external. Either way, I think the Walbro is the way to go. It is quiet, reliable, and flows more fuel than I will ever need.

No, never moved it to the tank. The thought of dropping my tank to change out the pump did not turn me on. I do enough dropping tanks for other people that it's not for me.

And yes, the Walbro is very quiet (I can't hear mine run, and it is under my **** on the frame rail) and should last longer than my Cummins that it is feeding.
