Lug nut question
Lug nut question
I just got a set of the stock polished alloys that come on these trucks. I currently have the ugly steel rims that come with the ST models.
My question is this...can I use my existing lug nuts to mount my "new" rims?

Not sure about the alloys , do they have a cone on the bolt holes ?
Some of the alloys have flats & use washers under the lug nut , as long as both rims have cones or flats they will work , you do not want to put cones over flats or flats over cones .
Next is if you've got some new shinny wheels you might want to get a set of keyed lug nuts , so it slows the thieves down a little

I dont know what the lug nuts look like under the plastic caps....I was outside all day and its too cold to go back out and look
These alloys are the ones made by Dodge, they arent aftermarkets. I guess Ill have to wait till tomorrow and find out when I take them to the tire shop.
