Was running smarty only on sw#9 4.11 wild. MP8 is off the truck right now. Truck started missing and had a rough idle, but not a check engine light. When up in the rpms, everything would smooth out. Thought it may possibly be fuel filters. So changed 2 micron and water separator. I was in Salt Lake when i did this. Drove 3 and a half hours home without a hitch. Rolled into my driveway, and engine was running rough. No misfire, but rough running. Loaded stock tune back into it, and everything smoothed out. Today while on my lunch break, rolled into the shop parking lot and threw a CEL. Plugged smarty in and had a Cylinder 2 injector misfire.

My question is, when i change the injector, is there a way to have the others tested at the local cummins shop? Or should i even be concerned?

 

It could be the injector or the injector wiring harness built into the valve cover gasket.
