Actually I do...lol It wasn't meant to be a crack any anyone. Hey I tune Canada's fastest VW beetle. It has a 2275cc turbo motor that makes 585hp and runs 9.50s at 145mph. I was just poking a little fun at something that people are looking for just for the sound. We get calls here asking if our turbo guard sounds like the blow off valve on an import car. They don't want to know the benefit of it, just the sound.

It can be done now. It takes the right combination, though.

We played around with the TST and Smarty TNT Revo software. I don't remember the settings but I remember it took a lot of timing on the TST, timing from the Smarty, and a blip of the throttle to get it started. Just the simple load of the motor trying to idle after that would cause it to fuel enough to rev again, and again, and again.......all by itself. Not truly a lopey tune, but same effect as long as you're parked or sitting still.

This was on an '03 with 60% over injectors, big Scheid cam (fly cut pistons), Scheid twin chargers, with a stock CP3. Haven't tried it since the twin CP3's are on. Don't know if that will make a difference or not.

That sounds like a problem... like pulling the FCA and maxing out rp. I sure dont want to mess up my truck for a cool sound, but a tune that would lope the idle safely is what im looking for.

I understand the want for a tune that does this, but in no way can I see the programming that was done for this hurting any components. The rail pressure was not affected.

Sounds like a 4640 John Deere that can't quite get started, I have the sudden urge to turn the steering wheel back and forth. If Marco could get my truck to start like an old John Deere tractor, complete with the huge cloud of smoke, and sometimes smoke rings......

Mine will do it at times now too, it does it the most when the motor is cold but it will still do it at times when I have my programing in certain levels. But mainly I think it comes from my tight Goerend Bros converter. But it does sound cool when it does it!
